Hello and Welcome to Kid Qubie!
My name is Nellie and I am a Navy wife, stay-at-home mom, inventor/entrepreneur and the creator of the Kid Qubie. Oh and did I mention that I love to shop? Well, not only do I love to shop but I love to take my time while shopping. This (as I am sure you know) is not always easy to do with a toddler! I hate putting my child in the HARD, UNCOMFORTABLE seat at the top of the basket. Not only is it hard to lift him above my head as I try to maneuver his feet into the holes, but I also know how disgustingly dirty that part of the cart is. YUCK! Prior to creating the Kid Qubie, I was always pulling towels and pillows off the shelves in order to seat my son in the basket of the cart so that he would be comfortable and I could take my sweet time shopping.
One day I decided to look online for a small shopping cart seat to place in the basket and to my surprise, not only were there none to be found, but I came across some SCARY information about shopping cart injuries and kids. I had no idea that 24,000+ kids go to EMERGENCY ROOMS every year because of serious shopping cart injuries. We are talking injuries that can result in brain trauma, fractures, neck and spinal cord injuries! It was pretty scary to think that we are putting our kids in danger every time we go to pick up groceries! I decided that I could provide a better alternative to the choices parents have while shopping with their kids.
So, my mission has begun! I have committed myself to making an impact on the number of injuries suffered by kids every year by providing a convenient, multi-purpose, easy to use product that is comfortable, cute and affordable for all families! Help me bring down the needless amount of injuries suffered by children by spreading the word about the Kid Qubie! Email your friends, tell everyone you know.
